Toyologist Review: Secret Agent Torpedo diver

As we learned from previous sets (here and here), there's always a 'gadget' in the Playmobil Agent sets. So, what is it with this one? Well, it'll be the little big propeller at the back of the boat-thing which spins and powers the boat-thing along in water.

The boat-thing has little rockets on the underside, which fire though 'pushing them out' action. They can be a bit of a pain to keep in position and I managed to lose one in the process of taking photos for this review. The motor is activated by turning the big orange bit at the front. There's a ring that temporarily fits around the orange bit that can be used to assist with the turning, but it's not essential if you lose it.

The Agent comes with full scuba gear, including an oxygen tank and rubbery flippers. His jacket can be removed after it's been put on him, but it's a little tricky - something that annoyed 2yo.

The boys (2 & 4) liked the water-aspect of the toy, though they did manage to pour water all over themselves in the process (they didn't like the 'wet socks' aspect quite so much). If we hadn't been testing these at Grandma's something like the WaterWheel table would have been perfect for using with this.

I'm not sure what else to say about this that I haven't said before about other sets in the line. If you like this line of Playmobil figures then it's certainly a worthy addition to any collection.
